If Gujarat wins both of their remaining matches:
GT vs KKR: To sustain in the playoffs, Gujarat Titans needs to win both of their remaining matches (vs KKR and SRH). If Gujarat wins both matches, they can get a maximum of 14 points, which could be sufficient if SRH, CSK and LSG win just one of their left matches and lose their final fixture of league phase.
However, in this scenario, GT need to work on their net run-rate, which is (-)1.063.
If GT is unable to win either of their two matches, they will be eliminated from the IPL 2024 as they can score a maximum of 12 points only.
Previously, Gujarat have gone into the playoffs since 2022. Under the captaincy of Hardik Pandya, GT played final matches of previous two IPL seasons, grabbing victory in the 2022 final while ending as a runner-up in 2023 season.
